Abstract
Competences play a mayor role in the understanding of teaching and learning processes within the EHEA. Thus, current higher educational scenarios require spaces for reflection, criticism, and the transference of contents among the learning situations provided and demanded by our current society. As a result of the changes promoted by the Bologna reform, new ways of understanding teachers initial training in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are emerging. In this article we elaborate on the results of an inquiry process developed at the College of Education and Social Work, University of Valladolid (UVa), to analyze the impact of a course on ICT to preservice teachers in students initial training. The research is focused in the way students transfer ICT competences adquired in the course to other courses in their minor, as well as in the transfer they make to real schools during their student-teacher practices. To do so we have developed two case studies spanning from 2011 to 2013.
