Zusammenfassung

The clinical case of a 65 years old man is reported. Tumor was discovered in rutinary exploration and it was localized in the submucous of the lingual tonsil. Diagnosis was made by needle puncture guided by ultrasound. Anatomo-pathological evaluation demonstrated the existence of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, B phenotype and it was classified as Stage IA. Because of his bad health, a treatment with local radiotherapy was made.We think that, the few reported cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma of lingual tonsil, the way how it was presented and also the method of diagnosis, would justify this publication.
