Abstract

The Bologna Process has meant an increase in the importance of collaborative work in the EEES, together with the need to assess the skills of students during it. This document presents the foundation and the first steps of validation of a collaborative work observation protocol in higher education. Academics and researchers from the Universities of Burgos and Valladolid (Spain), Minho (Portugal) and Federal do Espírito Santo (Brazil) participate in this project. The importance of this protocol lies in the relevance that the collaborative work of the students acquires in the new pedagogical practices of teaching-learning. The objective is to generate a useful instrument in the evaluation of collaborative dynamics and the level of participation and production of the students, with implications for teaching practice and research.
