Abstract

Indigestible dry matter (MSND), determined by the in saca technique at different times, was "Trabajo realizado como parte del Proyecto GAN 90-0906 subvencionado por la CICYT. studied as internal marker in lamb finishing diets. Faecal recovery (proportion of ingested recovered in faeces) of MSND increased with the incubation time (64, 128 and 192 h) from 0.675 to 0.821 . The incubation time for a com¬plete faecal recovery of MSND ingested was estimated to be 303.9 h of incubation from the relationship between dietary MSND (g/6) and faecal MSND (gld) against incubation time (h).
