Abstract

The noise inside a tobacco factory, located in Talayuela (Cáceres, Spain) has been measured using the UNE-EN ISO 11202: "Acoustics. Noise emitted by machinery and equipment. Measurement of emission sound pressure levels at a work station and at other specified positions. Survey method in situ". The results obtained in many cases exceed the values of the 110 dBC, surpassing in some situations the recommended by law, so we present some corrective proposals designed to bring the adequacy of the environmental conditions of the factory, required by regulations.
