Résumé

The grid method for noise map assessment was used in the city of Cáceres (approximately 90000 inhabitants) and the results of these studies are compared. Grid sizes of 200 meters and 400 meters (with two different cases) were used. From the results obtained, the global values of the city (average values or percentage of measurumentsthat surpass a certain noise level) were predicted in a similar way by the two sizes of grid used.
