Abstract

Mastocytosis is an emerging differential diagnosis in patients with specific mediator-related symptoms. Typical skin lesions are found in some patients, and the mastocytosis diagnosis can be achieved. However, in absence of lesions, diagnosis is a challenge. We developed a diagnostic algorithm for patients with suspected mastocytosis based on international consensus of networks of experts on this disease.
