Resumo

Overcoming the stages of corporate presence, content dump and developing their own content for the web, the Spanish media are now engaged in the exploration stage of new forms of communication (Cabrera, 2010; Díaz Noci, 2010; López, 2011). Several studies have pointed out how the media in the digital context try to progress in the hypertext, multimedia, convergence journalism and place special emphasis on user interactivity (Masip et al., 2010). This research was born in this context to know, about the same new, what the traditional media says, what the online media says and what audiences say too. This paper presents the results of an investigation focusing on the 23-F, consisting of a descriptive and comparative analysis of the content, on the one hand, TVE broadcast to mark the 30th anniversary of the 23-F and, on the other, the contents published in this moment on its website and the users' comments that were published on the same new, and try to discern if what the media says matches what the user says. The conclusions show that the type of information, and the approach, that offers the same media, on the same story doesn't diverge so much in its traditional and digital version, and not always the content and what the users say about this are the same.
