Zusammenfassung

The purpose of this paper is to show the results of an innovation that we introduced in the last years: replace the achievement of any "book reviews" by performing a single "essay" with a review process before delivery of the final work. Were applied different instruments of data collection: Anonymous questionnaire of the students for the final evaluation of the course, structured report of good practices, official data on academic performance, self reports of students, systematic collection of the workload of students and teachers. Results show that this practice is more effective than the previous model (reviews) and also obtained greater success and higher quality in the final work. In general, the course presents a very high success rate: 100% of the course and presented exceeds good marks. The only people who get low scores are those who have opted for mixed learning ways. It is not a good academically generation, but with a positive involvement in the whole process of learning, which makes understandable the high success rate generation, but also the academic performance obtained is lower than other courses. We believe that there are two basic aspects to ensure the success of the proposal: (1) reduce the burden of apparent labor (instead of 3 recensions have to perform a single essay); (2) conducting a monitoring process in tutorials and a specific and detailed mid-process correction ensures better quality of the final test.
