Resumen
In this paper we present an example of good practice implemented in the 4th grade of Initial Teacher training (Area of physical education: physical education and health). Writing essays was chosen as a key activity to assess the teaching-learning process that had been carried out. The results are very positive both in academic results and in achieving skills . The applied system of formative evaluation and improvement experienced by students in their process have served to raise the motivation of these throughout the process.
