Zusammenfassung

It deals with studying the content of the articles of José Jiménez Lozano's opinion, during the change of power from the Franco regime to the Transition, with the use of art icles published in the daily paper "Information". The aim is to analyse the role that journalists play in shaping public opinion, not only because of their choice and newspaper skills, but also analysing their own personal criteria. We take Paul Perez's Lopez theory as a base on the importance of investigating the history of the press in the contemporary era, in order to discover the awareness and opinion those journalists had at that time, at least theoretically speaking, and studying the greater zeal and determination they possessed to find out current issues and to reflect and discuss these issues with their contemporaries. One has proceeded to the read and analyse journalistic articles taken from the context of the history of Spain.
