The contribution of the Dominicans to the seventh art has been a constant since the birth of the cinematograph. The cinema of the Preachers shares with the religious genre all the characteristics from the creation to its effects of direction, production and artistic realization. Due to its idiosyncrasy, the ideology of the Order acquires a particular dimension in its performance. The preaching of the Gospel, the idea for which they were born eight hundred years ago, becomes a reason for being in the midst of any conflict presented, whether in the social, political, family or cultural levels. The interpretation in the celluloid seeks to fix the words and attitudes in images that can easily be retained by the spectators, spectators who on the other hand are called to continue the film in their own life.
