Abstract
The aim of this work is to collect information about the level of students’ scientific literacy of grade of primary education and to understand the factor that determine the scientific learning. The purpose is to identify difficulties of the pupils to learn science and difficulties to teach science. This information will allow to design strategies to reduce or to eliminate the difficulties. In this paper we show, as the first part of the study, the results of the university Campus of Valladolid concerning students who have completed the subjects corresponding to experimental sciences. Also, it has also achieved information’s student on the opinions on the training received. The work is part of a study including a Teaching Innovation Project of the University of Valladolid. The results seem to encourage optimism, but a more detailed study of these states, nevertheless, the need to introduce innovative approaches in the teaching of scientific content.
