Zusammenfassung

The city of Zamora counted in the early seventeenth century convent with a dense network, characterized as one of the most complex in the country in relation to its population. However, the city lived immersed in a situation of economic and demographic shortages similar to those of other cities, although exacerbated by its peripheral and border situation. This panorama prevented the establishment of new foundations, partly as a result of the opposing influence of the orders established in the city. The characteristic of this period was the construction of new monastic complex, the result of relocation of headquarters or expanding them. Although these three works were built in difficult situations, they represented the richest examples of Baroque in the city, having a great impact on society of the time Zamora. This research conducted the analysis of the circumstances surrounding these works, the process thereof, the architectural morphology of the monasteries, their impact on the urban fabric of the moment and the still visible consequences at present, although some of them have missing
