Resumen

In 2013, two research groups—the Architectural Photogrammetry Lab and the Spanish Observatory of Heritage Education—were authorized to create a digital course addressing the most recent challenges in architectural heritage: identification, documentation, representation and communication, which means drawing in a global sense. The massive open online course NEP: New Educational Strategies to Safeguard Cultural Heritage, approved as innovative teaching project by the University of Valladolid, was offered during the 2013–2016 period to achieve this goal. In addition to reviewing the different approaches on MOOCgraphy to date (focused on the area of architectural graphic expression), the purpose of this paper is to analyze the course’s strengths and weaknesses.
