Resumen

The main pretension of this work is a first exploration and update of the musical allusions in the whole of the work of Francisco de Goya. Addressing the organological and musical iconography in its wide-ranging production involves a review and analysis of the formal characteristics of each instrument and the meaning of the social, cultural and musical contexts that he lived, both in religious and profane areas and in public environments such as private. In addition, other representations have been studied with scenes that have voice and dances as protagonists. The observation of all this material is where it concludes a fine sensitivity of the artist towards the reality that sometimes combines with a certain fantasy.
