Abstract

The current formal educational context in Spain transforms the aim of education into a training to perform specific tasks in the society. That training requires the methodological approach to education as an autonomous process guided around which it is necessary to develop skills. This is the formal setting where it is necessary to draw a heritage skill: why, for what and what it is. Furthermore, It is also necessary to contextualize it into the formal educational enviroment at various levels. Drawing a heritage skill implies a revaluation of heritage education as a discipline within formal education, but, at the same time, it is a starting point in the evaluation of the results of teaching/learning in heritagitzation and identization processes.
