Abstract

In the absence of new documentary or archaeological sources about the medieval times in Hornachos, it is necessary to rethink the available information from a supra-local perspective. In this work we compile the historical data about the Mudejar community of Hornachos, we frame it in the context of the Moors of Extremadura and we propose new hypotheses and new questions in order to continue deepening in the knowledge of post al-Andalus Islamic reality of Iberian Peninsula
