Abstract

The high levels of noise in the cities is a serious environmental problema, and the actions for its reduction are complex and costly. It is necessary, thus prevent urban noise pollution starting from the design phase. These prevent measures should be taken into account beginning by the proper planning of land use to the design of the building itself (volumetric, type of plant, distribution functions, layout over the road, etc.) to optimize the acoustics conditions. The main objective of this work is to establish a possible criteria for noise reduction through the studies of impact assessment of the volumes of buildings in the attenuation of environment noise.
