Zusammenfassung
The sacralization of everyday life in Palencia along the Ancien Regime is reflected in a popular religiosity controlled by the clergy (with a strong power of the Dominican order). The testamentary writings and numerous texts, plus the specialized bibliography (following the master Egido), allow to document the maintenance of the pious keys in all aspects of existence. Thus, the towers of the churches and the sound of their bells governed the communal spaces, from birth to beyond their deaths, and clearly also noticeable in some usual clothes.
