Abstract
In this paper is it is made a study and aproximation to the topic of teacher stress taking it as reference to Mental Health among teachers. In it, after making an appreciation of the topic basing in different publications and studies which have been made in our country deving the last decade, we explain the work which we made about Mental Health among teacher, during the academic period of 1991-1992. We used a sample of 115 teachers teaching in Children Education and teacher Education levels, we give a first appreciation of the more significative data which have been verified. Finally, we insist that one of the main objective of this work is found in prevention and intervention fields in schoolar situations which would be able to generate stress and ansiety among the teachers, but in a future, will be part of this collective of teachers who work as teachers.
