Abstract
On the basis of the epigraphical sources in the Roman province of Pannonia, we analyze the private and public behaviour of the socalled "professionals" of the Roman oficial religion, as flamines and priests of the imperial cult, pontifices, augures, seviri and augustales. We look for possible relationships of dependence to the Estete-God or for their services to this special Lord which make themselves transmitting agents of its goodness to the provincial society.
