Zusammenfassung
The presence of adjustment costs in investment is enough to justify the temporal translation of the total factor productivity repercussion on capital and labour demands. In this paper, through a SURE estimation procedure, we evaluate such repercussion for the Spanish industrial economy. The effect of changes in total factor productivities on factor demands seems to be related, in significance as well as in temporality, with the capital intensity degree in the production functions.
