Abstract
This paper aims to introduce the legal history research community to the Spanish translation (the first one into a modern language) of the Eisagoge tou nomou, a work inspired by patriach Photius (late 9th century), and to point out the substancial problems of its date, authorship, legal value and juridical content from a present point of view.
