Abstract
In this study we have carried out a comparative analysis of the Jerónimo de Pasamonte's Vida y trabajos and Alonso Fernández de Avellaneda's Quijote using computer programs. Our data show numerous coincidences in the forms of expressions used in both works. The fact that many of these are truly relevant and significant leads us to attribute both works to the same author.
