Abstract
The documents founded at the Archivo General of Simancas corroborate the importance of Íñigo Lopez de Mendoza as an advisor of the royal works of San Francisco in the Alhambra to transform that place in 1504 as an honourable grave for the body of the queen Isabella the Catholic.
