Resumen

In this article, a robuts controller is designed for an electrical DC motor. The controller has been designed using the m-synthesis approach for an identified model of the plant, in such a way that the controlled system satisfies a set of performance specifications. The design procedure has been explained and the resulting system has been analyzed. Finally, the controller has been implemented in a digital computer and its performance has been compared respect to a well-tuned PID. The robust controller has important advantages under hard operation.
