Abstract
The spread in the use of credit and debit cards has implied a strong increase in the crimes related to them, specially, the frauds by using them. These frauds can be commited in commercial establishments, through the Internet and in automatic teller machines (ATMs). That spread above mentioned has also increased falsifications of this payment methods. The present article analyses in detail the answer provided by Criminal Law to combat this kind of form of criminality.
