Abstract
The study of the legal status of the right to strike in Belgium is the focus of this study. First, the process of recognition of the right to strike by Belgian law, mainly under the influence of international sources is studied. Secondly, mechanisms capable of limiting the exercise of the right to strike are discussed. Finally, because of its importance and controversial at present they are addressed aspects relating to the legality of picketing and the establishment of minimum services in Belgium.
