Abstract

The ambassador Francisco de Rojas played an important role in the court of the Catholic Kings. He invested great efforts to the realization of a funeral chapel in the Church of San Andrés in Toledo, although he previously possessed the so-called Golden Chapel of the Convent of Calatrava, place with which is connected a design signed by Juan de Borgoña and Antonio de Comontes. At the same time, some of the works of art commissioned by the ambassador are reviewed.
