Abstract

Endometriosis is a benign disease characterized by the appearance of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. Extra-pelvic endometriosis is an uncommon form of the disease. Location in abdominal wall surgical scar supposes 1 to 2% of patients undergoing abdominal surgery. We report a case of a 36-year-old female with personal history of caesarean 6 years ago. The patient complained about chronic pelvic pain and mass sensation in the caesarean scar. After physical examination, ultrasound and magnetic resonance evaluation, focal extrapelvic endometriosis was diagnosed.
