Resum
The demographic setback experimented by the Cerrato since 1960 has brought demographic consequences about birth rate, mortality and the structure by age in the population. What is specific about the region is the demographic duality among the municipality of the surroundings of the city of Palencia, located at the botton of the valleys of Carrion and Pisuerga, more industrialized and urbanized the rest of the region, clearly rural.
