Abstract

At the end of the Medieval Age and across the Modern Age, all the aspects surrounding a Prince used to be done in order to build an aspect of power. A model that ordered content and forms, leading towards heroism. Throughout history, the utopia of a good government was represented by this idea. This visual form, revealed throught clothes, gestures, the magnificent of the entourage… took special care in the case of entrances and urban parties, where diferent republics competed to show their relevance and union to the authority they extolled. Above usual, splendorous expression led to surprise, adding banners , awnings and others forms of beauty common in a city, like fires and water. Viena’s Chronicles specify some examples when fire and water were decisive, getting success when it comes to transform reality in a lyrical stylization, defined by whom saw it as: “Great Marvel”.
