Résumé
The contracting of financial instruments through online platforms by natural persons acting outside their profesional activity and the breach by investments firms of their legal information and advice obligations, has given rise to an important CJEU case law about the interpretation of the European international jurisdiction rules by which consumers are protected. This article analyzes the consequences of this jurisprudence and its impact on the principle of coherence in European private international law.
