Zusammenfassung
The Draft of Spanish Criminal Procedural Law of 2020 inserts a special procedure for intervention of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in Spanish criminal proceedings pursuing crimes agaist EU financial interests, according to the adversarial procedural system model, as stated by the EU Regulation 2017/1939 about the enhanced cooperation on the stablisment of the EPPO. Specialized authors and Spanish Prosecutors advanced the problems and proposed solutions to allow the intervention of the EPPO in Spanish criminal process. The analysis of this draft has been done, and some of the inconsistences and frictions have been seen. An assessment is made in view of the contributions of academics and prosecutors
