Zusammenfassung

One of the main objectives is the design of porous asphalt to reduce the acoustic contamination, usingsimulation tools to predict vibroacoustic behaviour. The design methodology consists of determining the acoustic intrinsic properties (porosity, tortuosityand static flow resistivity) of different types of porous asphalts realized in COLLOSA laboratory modifying the granulometry, and the percentage and type of bitumen, by an indirect method. This method uses the acoustic absorption coefficient measurements and the mathematical equations that describe the acoustic behaviour of porous materials, implemented in the software CARAM. Optimized asphalt was designed by means of the analysis of the relation between the intrinsic properties and the constructive parameters, and the vibroacoustic behaviour simulation software, SIMAM. The inputs for this software are these properties and the thickness of the asphalt layers.
