Abstract
Geographical vegetation research must recognizes the human fingerprints in the vegetal lansdcape origin, exceeding the actual biogeography. This paper claims the use of "mount" and "vegetal landscape" terms, and an historical view of the traditional mount works is made, showing up the medieval colonization role of the Iberian Peninsula in the origin of current vegetal and human landscape.
