Resumen

La lingúistica textual y los Estudios de Traducción nos han ofrecido un sinnúmero de taxonomías de textos. No obstante, ninguno de estos modelos ha planteado la necesidad de procesar los recursos lingúisticos de tal modo que cada uno de dichos tipos textuales se identificase como elemento icónico para una clase y, al mismo tiempo, reconociese las desviaciones posibles respecto a la norma de uso de dicho modelo en una instancia comunicativa. Es nuestro propósito, en el presente artículo, ofrecer un modelo empírico y de carácter funcional en el que el procesamiento del texto como instancia lingúística de orden máximo y de sus elementos lingúisticos argumente sobre el plano normativo de la lengua para descubrir comportamientos textuales en torno a las variables pragmática, semántica y formal. De este modo, será posible proponer modelos textuales que asuman a un tiempo estabilidad icónica y dinamismo en sus actuaciones comunicativas.
