Zusammenfassung

We intend to develop the topic of the title, basically, in three sections. After a brief discussion about the motivation to read, to frame it in the score, we shall see, in the second paragraph, the importance and characteristics of the first sentence of a text (enclosed by the first point), taking into account its length, content, syntax, punctuation and paratextual elements. Finally we will comment upon some scoring phenomena that may discourage the reader.
