aim| a drakonv teion.Two 16th century Spanish physicians and botanists, Nicolás Monardes and Juan Fragoso, fancied that they had solved the mystery thanks to a tree from Colombia or theCanary Islands, the fruit of which enclosed a seed in the form of a tiny dragon with elongated neck, open mouth, thorn-like erected bristles and a long tail.
