Zusammenfassung

Loneliness has different faces. It is also the reflection of a model of society. That is why lone- liness in the elderly is becoming a subject of work and study for professionals in psychology and sociology, social workers, geriatricians, etc., but above all for society that sees how many people, family or not , they go into circles of isolation, vulnerability and loss of contacts. The article presents an analysis of the problem and the contribution from the social health work.
