Resumo

The educational environment in which we carry out our teaching practice is developed in a context of Chinese-speaking Taiwanese university students, which is characterized by, among other aspects, having an adequate knowledge of English compared to Spanish. This knowledge, although it is useful from a typological point of view, as it favors an approach to understanding the functioning of other Western languages, in this case Spanish, so different from Sinitic languages; on the other hand, it produces certain negative transfers due to an excessive preponderance of unconstrained English, which undoubtedly affects the process of learning Spanish. In the present study we have compiled a corpus from written compositions made by our B1-B2 level students, focusing on those interferences detected at a syntactic and morphosemantic level, with the fundamental purpose that teachers can redirect certain learning strategies to those frequently used by our students to prevent them from learning a kind of stagnant Spanglish that hinders their correct apprehension of Spanish grammatical and, in general, linguistic competence.
