Abstract

This work analyzes the possibilities offered by the Ensenada Cadastre documentation for the knowledge of a singular space of the Crown of Castile, the region of Tierra de Campos in general and of an emblematic city of the same, Medina de Rioseco. To do this, the study of this wide region that extends through three different provinces, especially the Valladolid area, is approached first, to later focus on the aforementioned town of Medina de Rioseco.
