Abstract
This paper presents a working report focused on storytelling transmedia analysis in childhood education with the aim to develop their creativity and imagination, by using micro and little stories which are generated in participative ecosystems based on experimental, media content and interactive pedagogical approaches. After a brief introduction on the important role to be played by transmedia literacy and convergence culture within the formal educational institutions, the report first sets the instructional design under research. The study addresses, subsequently, the main elements that make up research design. We have opted for using narrative inquiry, horizontal methods and discourse analysis in order to describe the followed process, but also to be incorporate the outcomes derived from analysis of case of study. Finally, a set of conclusions are offered to allow for follow-up discussions about the prospects for transmedia projects to develop experimental creative workspaces which are mediating on learning.
