Abstract

This article explains the organization and structure of the last battle of the Riff War. It came days after the peace talks in Uxda between April and May 1926. Spain deployed an army divided into four sections composed of 40,000 soldiers, more than double of the Alhoucema’s landing. The pressure exerted from the north towards the south caused the flight of Abd-el-Krim and finally he surrendered to the French and it was the finish of the war in the Spanish Zone of the Protectorate.
