Résumé

Freewheeling Travelers is a gamified learning activity that aims to help students to practice SQL in an interac- tive and entertaining manner. FWT turns students into tourists and offers them everyday situations of a tra- veller, which they will experience through SQL. This paper describes the first experience of using FWT, re- porting improved academic performance and motiva- tion of students in a Database Systems subject.
