Abstract
On the occasion of the High Court (Contentious-Administrative Chamber, Section 3), no. 1462/2021, of 13 December 2021, we analyse the product placement and surreptitious advertising. We pay particular attention to the possibility of qualifying as surreptitious advertising those presentations of goods or services which, although complying with the requirements of warning the viewer, have a promotional purpose that constitutes a risk of misleading consumers.
