Abstract
It analyzes the process of dramatization of a historical event happened in the twelfth century. After we collect data about the context and the date of writing of Los celos hasta los cielos y desdichada Estefanía, by Luis Vélez de Guevara. And finally we discussed the nature of the intrahistorical action, the relationship with Lope�s piece about the same subject and the dramatic treatment of an ancestor of the duke of Lerma.
