Resumen

The use of ICT in university education is generalized. It motivates a change in educational strategy based on the use of computer tools, preferably broad spectrum applications, that simplify the control of multiple indicators that influence a complex problem. Within stacking, the use of spreadsheet manipulation tables allows the definition of objectives and the control of processes, facilitating the decisions, the optimizing of systems and improving training. In this work we propous the use of a scorecard as an environment in the of Theory of Structures Education Area, with the objetive of optimizing articulated structures by the creep, buckling and deformation criteria simultaneously. The achieved agility in the preprocessing, calculation and postprocessing processes, the organization and management of information and the orientation to the achievement of learning objectives make the spreadsheets to be taken into account in training processes.
