Abstract

This article shows the results of a work based on the analysis of the singularities of three-phase transformations using an educational platform designed to engineering. The theoretical study of these singularities is hard to understand by students, especially when the connections are done with single-phase transformers (the surges that withstand the windings, the harmonics which appear, the convenience of having or not the neutral, and so on). We have made an specific development of a clarifying practice of these concepts using the educational platform we mentioned before. The outcome has been very satisfactory and the data collected allowed has made it possible to deepen in the study of these phenomena in a simple way.
